Hello everyone, I going to talk about controversial issue in Chile, the inmigration.  In Chile, the phenomenon of immigration is growing more and more. It is increasingly common that when walking on the street, squares and parks, you can see people of different nationalities. When you talk to Chilean people about the phenomenon of immigration in Chile, generally, there are two marked positions about immigrants, on the one hand, there are people who think that immigrants are "invading" the country, that these people "come to take jobs away from Chileans ", or that immigrants are criminals. On the other hand, there are people who think that immigrants are people with the same rights as Chilean citizens, that it is beneficial for more immigrants to arrive because that is how Chile increases cultural diversity, gastronomy, customs, etc. However, the immigration phenomenon in Chile is not recent or localized, immigration in Chile starts from the col

What is your favourite TV show/movie?

Hello Well, now I'm going to talk about one of the best tv series I've seen in time. But before this it is necessary to leave some clear ideas. Before describing one of the best series I've seen. I have the idea that TV series are a television phenomenon that flourished after the 2000s, I have the idea that this happened for two things: First, the massification of the Internet, along with it, little by little people started to have Greater accessibility to more information of the "network", such as movies and TV series. Second, the creation of specific internet sites where you can access to watch movies and TV series, for example, Netflix. I think I'm not a person I know a lot about tv series or movies, I do not proclaim myself a movie buff, however, I think I've seen (at least half) of classic series, for example, the Simpsons, Breaking Bad, Prison Break , Hunter x Hunter, etc. Well, now I'll talk about the MerlĂ Series, broadcast f

Postgraduate Studies

It is difficult the task that I have to do this week, not because it is a difficult task but I have never thought if I would like to carry out and study a postgraduate course. If I had to choose a postgraduate degree to specialize my career (psychology) I think I would choose an area linked to sport, I think of an idea such as: sports psychology. The psychology of sport is a branch of psychology, which is not deeply studied here in Chile, but I was wrong only 2 universities studied but very superficially. However, until last year, this university taught a course for the psychology degree, but for "bureaucratic issues" they stopped doing the course. Well, I am interested in sports psychology because it is an area of psychology that studies the psychological factors of each person, in relation to performing some physical activity, as well as the ways in which participation in sport and exercise influence in psychological development and physical condition. My future Job

Hi all, Talking about future work is a topic that I am interested in writing. When I entered university, I did not really know what area of psychology I was going to specialize in. This question often took away my sleep at night. However, when I was in the third year of psychology, I had my first approach to educational psychology. From that moment, I decided that I had to work in a school. That my future work is in this area, is a safe decision. My main motivation to work in a school is to want to help a sector of the Chilean population that is deeply affected, children and adolescents. My work will be focused on defending the smallest of this society, to protect their universal human rights, to give voice to children who have been silenced. This is going to be my main "fight flag", the children. I would like to work in a school that is located in rural areas, outside the city of Santiago. Those children who generally do not have the same possibilities as a child
